Iceland

Iceland is a large island in the North Atlantic close to the Arctic Circle, featuring a rugged topography with volcanic formations. Most viistors come here to savor the magnificent natural beauty. From glaciers and volcanoes to raging rivers and breathtaking waterfalls, there’s everything that a nature lover could ask for!

Probably the best way to explore Iceland is to take one of the coach tours arranged all over the island, with the coastal towns as a base. Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, is set on a broad bay, surrounded by mountains, and is studded with geothermal hot springs, which provide the city with a natural central heating system and a pollution-free environment.

In fact, Reykjavik has the reputation for being the cleanest city in Europe. The tiny city is brimming with interesting sights and things to do. From galleries and museums to thermal bathing spots, it’s an assaulty to your sense. It’s nightlife is second to none. Shopping and browsing through local crafts shops along with designer stores can be a great fun, too! Laugavegur is a famous shopping street whereas the Kringlan shopping mall is a good option for buying  designer wear.

If you think Iceland ends here, you’re mistaken! Can anyone miss whale-watching, chic fine dining, hiking the exciting trails, and fishing the rivers?
